Montpelier have appointed Andrew McDonald to join the team of directors at their Preston office and are enthusiastic about 2012 being a positive year for Montpelier and local businesses in the North West.
Andrew qualified with KPMG in 1984 and then joined a local independent practice as partner, which then merged to become part of RSM Tenon in 2007. He has considerable knowledge of AIM companies and working with regulated businesses including solicitors, stockbrokers and IFAs. Andrew also has extensive experience in offering business advice to local family and owner managed businesses in the North West.
Paul Fingleton, board director for Montpelier Professional Limited, which has a major presence in the North, said "Andrew's business knowledge and expertise in advising corporate clients is highly recognised in the North West. His professional approach in the management and direction of auditing and accounting of regulated businesses is greatly valued by Montpelier".
Andrew said "2012 is an exciting year for Preston, it is the year of our city's 20 year Guild celebrations; coupled with Preston being the hosts for the European Corporate Games during the summer. As part of the Montpelier team, I look forward to supporting events in Preston and encouraging local businesses to take advantage that 2012 will be a great opportunity to put both our city and our local entrepreneurs in the corporate spotlight.
