Montpelier Audit Limited ("Audit") is an independent company which is registered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales to carry out the audit of limited companies' accounts.

Audit maintains its independence and objectivity - essential qualities for those engaged in audit - in that it remains free from any involvement in or influence on its day-to-day operations by other group members.

Statutory audits under The Companies Act 1985 make up the biggest part of Audit's income. Non-statutory audits are also carried out when requested by investors.

Audits are conducted under International Standards on Auditing (UK & Ireland). Specialist skills are available for charities, pension schemes, clubs and associations, reports under the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and for Due Diligence assignments when clients are contemplating an acquistion.

We have acted as consultants to other small firms of auditors and pride ourselves on the effectiveness and value for money that our audits bring. We are an Approved Training Office for training students of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
